On Monday and Tuesday, we worked on how to quote/paraphrase/summarize and how to use in-text citations to help us avoid plagiarism when using other writers’ ideas and words. Everyone received handouts on Monday and Tuesday, which include directions on how to quote/paraphrase/summarize and examples of in-text citations. These handouts should be used to complete this blog assignment.
DIRECTIONS:
Include 3 examples of how you are using other writers’ ideas in your persuasive writing essay. The ideas can be quoted, paraphrased, or summarized. Remember to use in-text citations correctly.
example 1 they can call for help whether its the police or ambulance (coher1).

When I used my research and put it into my writing piece I paraphrased my research, used my own words and put it in my piece. The oppisite of paraphrase is plagarising. I changed plenty of word that I changed out of my research into my piece.

She believes that young people imitate their style of clothes and their incorrect ways of talking.(Gioia 2)
